Staying Busy

"Clean. Clean. Clean. Sing the Cleaning song."

What the...??? Oh sorry. Haven't seen you around for a while. I've been trying to stay busy. Chloe's getting near the end of her pregnancy and I'm trying to help out everywhere I can.

It's been an interesting few months around here. Chloe has forgiven me, but I know I didn't deserve it. Man - looking back, I'm surprised she didn't deck me. Or pack up and move.

We've come to an agreement about the baby. Since she wants to continue working after the baby is born and I'm not as high up in The Organization as she is, we decided that I'd quit and become a stay-at-home Dad.

I'm actually looking forward to it. I've been reading books and watching videos to prepare me for what's ahead. Posted by Picasa

Still in Love

Chloe says she's still as much in love with me as she ever was. I've always thought there was something special about me, but she's made me even better.

There's a big difference between her and the other chicks I used to date. I haven't even seen anyone else since I realized what I almost lost.

Now, I'm not gonna lie and say I haven't thought about it. I've even talked to some of my special lady-friends. But that's as far as it's gone. I'm trying hard to be good. Posted by Picasa

Oh No!

As soon as I got home from work I heard a loud noise from the bedroom. I ran in there to find Chloe in labor.

I'm sorry to say I wasn't any help for Chloe. I mean, I couldn't even remember the number for 911. Then, before I knew it, our baby was born. Posted by Picasa

Hi Baby

Please allow me to introduce Baby Alice. She's bald and she's beautiful. She's also the heir to whatever I may have to give her.

Isn't she wonderful? Posted by Picasa

Cleve and Alice

Chloe has gone back to work again and I'm in charge of all the "baby jobs."

Hey, I'm really good at this "daddy" thing. Posted by Picasa

Birthday Time!

Before long it was Alice's birthday. Although it was just her Mom and me there, we had a wonderful celebration for her.

She's so beautiful. I think that she looks more like me than her Mom, but of course, Chloe thinks it's the other way around. Posted by Picasa

Ahem... Chloe?

Shortly after the Alice's birthday, I surprised Chloe with a special box.

I dropped to one knee, held out the box and said -

"Ummm, (gulp) Chloe? I want to... uh, I mean, would you... will you... Drat it all! Marry me, OK?"

She said yes. We decided to exchange vows right away. Since there's no churches or courthouse in town yet, we just said what we felt, right there. Posted by Picasa

Again?

Right after they exchanged vows Chloe ran to the bathroom. She's been hanging out in there a lot. Sort of like when she was pregnant with Alice.

Maybe we got married just in time. Posted by Picasa

Married?

Did I just use the word 'married'? About me?

OK, I know that Chloe's wonderful. I know that I already love our daughter, Alice. I think that we may be having another child and I know that I will love him or her too.

But that doesn't stop the doubts. I love wooing new women. I love loving new women. I'm good at loving new women. What have I done? I may never be with another woman ever again.

I have to hide these thoughts though. I can't let Chloe know that I'm not as happy as she is that we're... married. Posted by Picasa

Alice is Mobile

I've been very busy trying to be a good Dad. Chloe is home on Maternity leave right now so be quiet, OK? She's sleeping.

Alice and I have been working on a special surprise for Mommy. She needed some practice to polish off her moves, but now she's got it. She's fully mobile now.

Oh no? What have I done? She's going to be in everything! Posted by Picasa

Baby Boy

Welcome to the family Baby Benson!

What's that? Oh don't worry about your hair. Hey, your sister was just as bald as you when she was born. Now she has lots of hair. Soon you will too.

Uh-oh. Speaking of your sister, where did she go now? Posted by Picasa

Toddler Alice

Hey, I guess it was a good thing that I did teach her to walk after all. Now she can take care of potty-duty by herself. Now, if I could just get her to empty it too.

Here's a wonderful photo of Little Alice. I'll have to remember to show this to her boyfriend when she gets older. I know, I'm evil.

Wait a minute. I just realized something. How do I make sure she doesn't hook up with a jerk like me? If someone ever treated her like I used to treat Chloe, I'd have to hand out some serious pain! Ahh, man! Posted by Picasa

Benson

Chloe always seems to get the strange look on her face whenever she sees me with the kids. Don't know what's up with that. But I know it usually means I'm getting lucky tonight.

Yowsa! I do like that look in her eyes. Posted by Picasa

My Big Girl

Today was Alice's birthday. Dontcha' just love the little ducks?

Dude, she's growing up way too fast. Seems like only a few days ago she entered our lives. She's already talking about going to school and all the things she's gonna do there.

I'm so afraid that before I know it she's gonna be away at college. Scary, huh? Posted by Picasa

First Day of School

OK, I know that I wasn't supposed to be on the bus, but Miss Vivian is very patient and understanding with first time parents.

Good thing that she was or else I wouldn't have gotten such a great shot. Alice is so grown up. Chloe and I were so worried about tears when the bus came. But Alice is all happy and excited. I'm the one who wants to cry. Go figure! Posted by Picasa

Chloe is so Proud

Alice is doing so well in school. She's bringing home A+ papers every day now. We are so proud of our Little Angel. Posted by Picasa

Happy Birthday!

Today was Benson's birthday. He loves wearing his winter clothes inside the house. He's a strange dude. But he's my Bud.

He kept telling me to throw him up higher and higher. Kept saying something about trying to touch the 'pooter.

I thought he might be trying to say computer, but we don't have one. Yep, time to work on his talking.

Well, this has been the longest visit you've made yet. Time to put our little ones to bed, so I'll say good-bye for now. Posted by Picasa

Do the Smustle!

Yo, it's me again! Hey Dudes and Dudettes, thanks for all the cool comments left after my intro. I always knew I had it in me to make people happy. Even online!

Just for all my new friends, I thought I'd start out with the best pic I've had taken in... oh, at least weeks.

I know that some of you have been amazed at the glory that is me. That's understandable, I amaze myself sometimes. So let me fill you in on the first week on my own. Posted by Picasa

Love Machine

Just to let you know, I haven't slowed down at all. The chicks are still digging the Cleve "Love Machine."

I realized that I need to start giving some very serious thought to continuing my lineage. I mean, eventually I'm gonna be old, right? Someone will have to be able to support me. And I mean really take care of everything. After all, like I said before, "Work a little - Play a lot" is my new motto.

So I guess you could say that I'm auditioning a few people to help with the female part of the equation. First audition was Christy Stratton. Yep, Christy here just couldn't get enough of me. I totally rocked her world! Posted by Picasa

WooHoo

Here's another audition. Hmmm, I wonder if that was Regina? Or was it Jan? Ummm, Sandy?

Oh well, you can tell that things are going well for me. (And whoever that dame was in the photo.)

Chloe's Audition

Yeah, this is the same chick who like my Simsmopolitan line. You gotta love a chick who isn't offended by a come-on. And some dames really are.

I mean, really! I've taken a few pokes and jabs in my time. And sometimes they get downright mean. If I didn't know for a fact that I'm a good catch, I'd start having a complex.

Everyone always says bigger is better. Well, I've got the big pecs, big shoulders and the big, bold, beautiful face to prove just how true that is. Posted by Picasa

Me and Brandi

Yep. I know that you know what this pic means. It means Brandi finally got her wish. She got a special audition for the future "Cleve's Baby's-Momma."

Hmmm, there's a lot to be said for this public woo-hoo. I don't have to take them home so they don't know I don't have a condo anymore. Nice. Posted by Picasa

WooHoo again

Of course, eventually even I got a little tired of all of my auditions. I had to stop thinking about my so-called legacy and take a break from all the "future Momma's" I'd been seeing lately. Posted by Picasa

Lonely Bed

Well, it's been a long week. Between working day jobs downtown, my job as a catburglar and all the auditions, I'm just beat.

A nice quiet night in bed is just what I need to figure out who's moving in tomorrow. Should I pick Sandy, Christy, Chloe, Brandi or Jan?

Something tells me that Regina is just way too much of a Diva for my liking. Small doses of her go a long way. So she's out of the running. Although she was a fun audition.

Wow, I never realized just how lonely a bed can be. Oh well, I know I'll get some sleep soon. Decisions, decisions. Posted by Picasa

Burglar?

"Yo' Gordon! What are you doing here?"

Ow! Man that had to have hurt. Cool, that chick is really putting the hurt on him. I feel bad about cheering on a cop, but he has it coming to him. What's he doing trying to steal from a co-worker anyways?

What a way to end my first week here. Posted by Picasa
